The Shigaraki Kogen Railway links to Shigaraki, the "Tanuki (Raccoon Dog) Town". You'll be welcomed at Shigaraki Station by a veritable bevy of Shigaraki tanuki. If you’re lucky you may also get to see some rice paddy art from the train, or ride on a charmingly decorated train!
