Hakodateyama Ski Resort is well known across the entire Kansai region, located 690m above sea level in a mountainous region to the northwest of JR Omi-Imazu Station. Known for its heavy fall of quality snow, the richly varied piste allows everyone from beginners to experts to enjoy themselves. The use of artificial snow machines allows skiing to start in December.

A ski resort boasting a varied dining menu. There are three restaurants located across the resort, offering everything from Western and Japanese set meals to light meals and noodles. The café restaurant called LAMP is popular for their parfaits, but also offers a wider menu of pasta lunches and light meals.
