Nagahama Railroad Square preserves the "First Nagahama Station Building," the oldest station building still remaining in Japan. Inside you can get a taste of the original architecture while enjoying exhibitions of steam locomotives and the longest model railway in Japan, at 66m. You can also try on the uniforms worn by locomotive drivers and station staff, and try driving a model train for yourself.
