A company that has made decchi yokan (thick jellied sweets made of red bean paste, agar, and sugar) uirou and uiro mochi (steamed cake made of rice flour and sugar) and a range of seasonal confections since their founding in 1863. They are especially distinguished as a maker of the famous Omi confection decchi yokan, and are loved not only locally in Omi-Hachiman but also by customers from across Japan.
