Mangoro is a long standing store with ties to the feudal lord Nobunaga Oda. It was founded in 1910 and so has been in operation for more than 100 years. They sell confections with links to Azuchi. Their most famous product is the "Makezu no Tsuba," ("undefeated hand guard"), which contains two different colors of bean paste and a design based on the hand guard of Nobunaga Oda's beloved sword. It has become famous as one of the best gifts to give from Azuchi and is said to bring good luck.
