Karasaki-jinja Shrine is dedicated to a god with a deep connection to Hiyoahita-taisha Shrine, and as featured in the "Night Rain at Karasaki," one of the Eight Views of Omi, is also a place of exceptional beauty.
A large spiritual pine approximately 100 years old also stands in the grounds of the shrine, immortalized in the work of poet Basho Matsuo, "The pine of Karasaki is even hazier than the cherry blossoms." The Karasaki pine that stands in the Kenrokuen garden in Kanazawa is also famous for originating from here.
