Climb the stone steps leading to the temple and you will see Echigawa River on your right and a stone statue of Buddha on the rocky cliff to your left. The path is lined with multiple varieties of maple tree, making this a popular spot to see the leaves in their fall colors. There is also an artistic manhole with a fitting maple design located close to Eigenji Temple.
