The city of Otsu offers you a unique occasion during a week-end to taste B-class (cheap but tasty) food from all around Shiga. 60 different restaurants were represented, putting at your disposition 60 different kinds of food.

We could have found it just by the food smell. However the path was clearly indicated.
The festival took place on the harbour. The wind coming from the lake was a real blessing on such a warm day.
Food obviously attracts a lot of people.
You have the tickets, you got the food.
The queve was long and the sun striking hard. Time for a drink.
And here comes the first payement.
Beautiful weather ＋ delicious ramen.. What else?
The "Horumon yaki-udon" ( Horumon: meat, yaki-udon:pan fried pastas) were a must!
Working hard to cook the best Omi-beef burger.
Doesn't it look tasty?
The hamburger surprised more than one person with its taste and texture… a masterpiece.
The special Karaage ( fried chicken) is being fried.
And here goes the crispy.
Obviously of everyone's taste.
The peru-don was as good as it looked.
A smell break in the shadows before continuing the dish exploration.
The pita being stuffed with letuce.
The pita sandwich… very close to a khebab sandwich. Yummy!
The black tako-yaki raised the curiosity of a lot of people.
A dish made out of different vegetables mixed with mochi-rice: Okowa.

One of biwako's speciality : the black bass crocket.
The "biwako dog" : a hot dog with tartare sauce.
The Wakasagi (pond smelt) sticks.
A warm day plus a fountain… guess what happened?
The red flaming T-shirts of the staff.
Endress food stands … It would be a dream without the waiting time.
The most popular dishes eventually ran out of stock.
Keep smiling while saying that you ran out of stock.
End of the first day … However, the place is still crowded.
