Koka was known to be the famous hometown of ninjas. That’s why we went to Koka’s Ninjutsu (ninja techniques) training camp. Away from the everyday life, we become for a short time real ninjas.
We arrived at Koka station. In front of it stands a Ninja's bronze statue.
You can find in Koka station the "Road of the Shuriken (throwing knife)". As we could expect from Ninjas.
Be careful! Ninjas on the ceiling!
The arrival at "Koka Ninja Village". Let's begin our ninja training.
We are now...
You can borrow ninja outfits here. Now that we have the appearance, let's begin to learn a bit more about ninjas.
Ninja documents... It seems that the image we got from ninjas in the movies and reality are a bit different...
The shuriken had various shapes.
After this we went to the shuriken "throwing range".
In exchange of a bit of money, receive some shuriken. Actually they are heavier than I thought!!!
We were taught how to throw by the instructor.
We managed to hit the target. Nevertheless it was quite difficult.
After this we made various trainings.
First, wall climbing! Quite difficult training...
Walk on a very narrow wall without falling. Ain't I THE ninja?
Position well your hands and feet and proceed. Cautiously!
Put a bit more strength in your hands too.
Next step, cross the pond with this.
If you can figure out the art to do it, you can do it quite easily actually.
End of the training!
With this training, we are now top class ninjas!!!
Finally we shared together the experienced difficulties a ninja had to go through. It was a lot of fun.
With a variety of contents, we spent an enriching time there. If you want to become a real ninja, you can only get the needed experience by going to Koka Ninja village!!!
